Introduction: All living organism are made up of different lifeless biomolecules these molecules interact with each other and forms a functional living organism. Biochemistry is the study of chemical process occurring in the living organism.

The Master's in Biochemistry program is a two-year, full-time program. The objective of this Program is to:

-Deliver scientifically updated, streamlined industry and research relevant curriculum.

-Develop the student's analytical, quantitative, presentation, teaching skills

-Help the student identify his/her topic/area/field of research in the first year of the program and deliver targeted learning towards developing his/her knowledge & collection of significant research literature in the chosen field.

-Guide and nurture the skills of scientific writing, research methodologies & its relevance.

Course overview: The two-year full time program will comprise of 4 semesters (approximately 6 months each semester). These semester will consist of various curricular, extracurricular, co-curricular & social awareness activities. The curricular activities have been divided into classroom-based courses and field/research based projects subject to evaluation. In three years, students learn 12 Specialized Courses in Biochemistry, one short term Dissertation/ Industry internship Project for a duration of 6 months in the 4th Semester, with many short term projects & training programs, hands-on workshops with duration for a few days throughout the course. The students will be encourage to present their dissertation work/ research work at conferences at various levels and will be guided to writing research articles & reviews.

Eligibility: Candidates who are graduates in any field of life sciences with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
