ITM - Brickfields Asia College (BAC), Malaysia:

Certificate in Legal Practice (License to practice in Malaysia)

UK Transfer Degree Program (On completion of minimum credit program, the candidate optionally my join the ITM University program in India or optionally at Malaysia/UK and to complete the credit program with common subjects and non allied subjects shall be completed at ITM with twin and / or joint certification, and qualify for Bar Council examination.

BAC certificate programs can be pursued at ITM thorough online platform as accepted by both the institutions and joint certification, like Certificate in Oil & Gas Law, Commercial Contracts, Shipping Law & Practice.

At BAC:

BAC offers the UK Transfer Degree Programme (Law) where students are given the option to complete a 1+2 (1 year at BAC and 2 years at a partner University) or 2+1 (2 years at BAC and 1 year at a partner University) depending on their preference.

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded an LLB (Hons) degree from the respective University. BAC’s UK Transfer Degree Programme (Law) is fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the UK Joint Academic Stage Board (JASB). Students graduating with a degree from a partner university will therefore be accorded UK Qualifying status, making them eligible for the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC). Individuals intending to practice law with this degree can thus embark on either the BPTC in the UK or the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in Malaysia. As India, Malaysia both follow legal principles of British Jurisprudence, these programs provide unique opportunity to get qualified in 3 countries with commonalities in Law and Process.
