It is also mandatory for the parties to inform the given Court that they have taken the prior action and tried every measure they could in order to tackle the obstacle by reaching out to the government and PIL is their last resort. 20.01.2017: Seminar on Swami Vivekanand Leader QualitiesITM University based school of Commerce, Management and Research is providing again a platform to management students by organizing a intra departmental competition on “leadership Qualities By Swami Vivekanand”. The objective behind this event is to know various leadership traits that swami ji has given to the society and to derive important management lessons for living a healthy life both for individual and business organization. When we speak of Swamiji as 'the Great Innovator of Management Values', we must remember that during Swamiji's time the science of management did not exist. Generally management is nothing but organized common sense, and that is from time immemorial. When nations became industrialized and new markets and products were discovered, industries and companies grew and exploited labour; tycoons and powerful politicians started making the rules and therefore money. The science of management started only after the World War I. It first went into organizing labour, work measurement, work study, production, and productivity. Then slowly other departments came up. Peter Drucker in The Best of Peter Drucker says, "We made a mistake, I do not know from why and where, from 1930 we started making a mistake that equating management with only business management, but business management is only one part of the management." Latest Management techniques like 'values-based management' that we know, Swamiji unconsciously practised them told by Dr Monika Sethi,Head School of Commerce, Management and Research. She said through this competition the important leadership qualities will be presented to congregation and the best presenter will be awarded.

The rural area remains always untouched in terms of knowledge and training on the important aspects on economic and legal fronts and fall under exploitation. They too pose fundamental rights to know upon various state and central government policies and if they have proper knowledge and training they can protect themselves from being cheated. Education is the key to everything. It is the key to peace and democratic stability, to jobs and economic growth, to good health, to respect and harmony between different genders, faiths, ethnic groups and communities. It is the key to billions of unique human beings fulfilling their unique potential. I understand that Teachers' Day celebrations are held all over the country to honour all teachers, and to express gratitude to them for their dedicated service to the nation. Teachers' Day is the ideal way of telling teachers that we are thankful for their presence in our society.
It is my belief that teachers are creative, talented people; teachers respond very positively when they are respected and included in the decision-making integral to their work in the classroom or lecture theatre. They gain a sense of ownership over their work when they are involved in the development of the curriculum, designing detailed syllabuses and assessment schemes, making and selecting the teaching materials, and involved in training programmes leading to their own intellectual and professional development.
Dr Monika Sethi reminded the contribution of Dr Sarvapally Radhakrishnan who is well known for his dedication and belongingness to nation and his teachings. He is known as second president of Republic India who is profound philosopher, statesman and educationalist of exceptional stature In fact, Teachers day commemorates the memory of Dr. Radhakrishnan and his notable contributions to the cause of education. This day also recall and acknowledge the immense contributions of countless teachers of our nation.Addressing the student on this special day she said the word "teacher" is the noun form of the verb "teach". The word "teach" derives from the Old English word tcan which means to show, point out, or give instruction. In 1290, the word teacher began to be used for the index finger, or "one that points out". By 1300, it took on its modern meaning, or "one who teaches".
Therefore, a teacher?s role is a torch bearer and pivot of any educational system of younger students. On him rests the failure or the success of the system. If the teachers are well educated and if they are intellectually alive and take keen interest in their responsibility, then only the success is ensured. Teaching, in fact, is not a job, it is an attitude. Teach er is a source of information, a guide, a mentor, a motivator, all at the same time.
She narrated numerous example and anecdote where she explained the role of role of teacher in carving student's learning and developing them holistically. She urged all the students to respect their teacher and their teachings. she concluded with the tribute of great teacher Einstein to the teacher, Quote
The ideals which have lighted my way, time after time, have given new course to face life cheerfully have been kindness, beauty and truth.?
During this occassion students presented various colourful events to pay tribute to noble laurete Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and feliciated all teachers of the department. -

Dr. Prasad Kolla delivered plenary lecture from Faculties of Biosciences, ITM-University Raipur. He spoke about the recent development in the field of mental health and special emphasis on Down syndrome.
Currently no specific biomarkers exist for the screening of pregnancies at risk for Down syndrome (DS). Since a quantitative proteomic approach with isobaric labeling (iTRAQ) has recently been suggested to be highly suitable for the discovery of novel plasma biomarkers, we have now used this method to examine for potential quantitative changes in the plasma proteome of the pregnancies bearing DS fetuses in comparison to normal healthy babies. In our study, we used plasma from six women with DS pregnancies and six with uncomplicated pregnancies care were taken to match cases and controls for gestational and maternal age, as these could be a confounder. In our quantitative proteomics analysis we were able to detect 178 proteins using iTRAQ labelling in conjunction with 4800 MALDI TOF/TOF. Amongst these we observed changes in betaHCG, a known screening marker for DS, indicating that our assay was functional. We found a number of elevated proteins Ig lambda chain C region, serum amyloid P-component, amyloid beta A4, and under expressed proteins like gamma-actin and titin in DS pregnancies. These proteins are also found in the sera of patients with Alzheimer disease, which share similar pathologies of DS. Our study therefore indicates that the iTRAQ labelling approach may be indeed useful for the detection of novel biomarkers.
Delegates from different countries were present for the meeting. -
